Chattanooga is located in Southeast Tennessee near the Georgia border; it is the fourth largest city in Tennessee. Chattanooga’s population in 2006 was estimated to be 153,789 and in Hamilton County the estimated population in 2006 was 310,584. Chattanooga is 675 feet above sea level and has moderate climate, with cool winters, very warm summers and a yearly temperature average of 60.5 degrees.
